Year-long agenda:
- Bookmarks for Elementary School Classrooms
- As an end-of-year gift to elementary school students, we are making bookmarks for classrooms. Already we need 2000 bookmarks for teachers. We invite you to help us accomplish this feat and show your creative flare! If you have friends that can help, bring them in on the action.
- Make bookmarks to match elementary schools' mascots! (Spring Brook - Huskies, Peterson - Panthers, Prairie Dogs, and Welch - White Tigers)
- Blank bookmarks will be located in a bin outside of Door 1 at the NVHS Main Building. Take blank bookmarks and complete them at home. Once they are finished, please return and place them in the drop-off bin. We welcome you to take as many bookmarks as you feel you can accomplish. We recommend anywhere from 3-10.
- Reach out to Tiffany Mao () with any questions!
- More information and directions are posted on Google Classroom!

Who We Are:
NVHS Interact is a community service club, centered around helping those in the community, nationally, and internationally. To that end, we help with local events through the park district, school districts, and local non-profit organizations (without religious affiliation). We offer leadership opportunities for students and encourage students to attend leadership conferences to grow their skills. We are a Rotary-sponsored club, working closely with Naperville Sunrise, and we are the largest club at Neuqua by membership. We are devoted to giving back to our community through service, collections, and limited fundraising.
What We Do:
Interact’s members attend biweekly Monday morning meetings during which we discuss current volunteer opportunities, local organizations with additional opportunities, and leadership. Vetted by sponsors and our executive board, our activities offer valuable ways to give back to our community. We have a wide variety of activities throughout the year, including our Senior Citizen Tech Classes, Blanket Making, Naper Lights, St. Paddy's Day 5K, Community Litter Pick Up, elementary school science fairs and celebrations, and more. Check the website for our latest agenda which lists our current opportunities, and reach out to students on the Exec Board (listed on the back of the agenda) or club sponsors with questions.
Our Message |
The time we take to serve those who need us can be the turning point,
not only in their lives but also in our own. Be kind. |
